Madison County Mental Health Board St. John's Community Care

Community Haven offers a dementia-specific respite/adult day care program for cognitively
impaired seniors and their families. The impaired individual is engaged in group and individual
activities designed for his/her interest and retained abilities. The target population includes
individuals with memory loss and cognitive deficits due to Alzheimer's disease and other causes
of dementia as well as their caregivers. Mental Health Board funding is provided for the adult day
care program. Serves the southern portion of Madison County.
