MCMHB Funding Application Schedule
Funding Applications are:
- Distributed August 1
- Due (back) by September 1
- Evaluated through:
Meetings with applicants to review funding requests
MCMHB Personnel/Finance Committee analysis
Three year application with yearly updates
Application Guidelines For Funding:
Organizations receiving funding from MCMHB must show evidence of seeking support from
all available resources, including:
- Medicaid (if available)
- Insurance Coverage
- Other Third-Party Payers
- Federal Agency Resources
Division of Rehabilitation Services
Division of Alcohol & Substance Abuse
- If an agency serves multiple counties, it must seek funding from the mental health board/department in those counties.
Additionally, MCMHB:
- Reviews applicants yearly
- Does not engage in "historical funding"
- Restricts funding to those services provided in Madison County and surrounding areas for Madison County residents
- Requires funded agencies to self-monitor/report results
