  • Meetings with applicants to review funding requests.
    
    
  • MCMHB Personnel/Finance Committee analysis.
    
    
  • 2003 Application Format changed to 3 year application with yearly updates.
    

Applicant Guidelines For Funding

Organizations receiving funding from MCMHB must show evidence of seeking support from all available resources, including:

• Medicaid (if available)
  
  
• Insurance Coverage
  
  
• Other Third-Party Payers
  
  
• Federal Agency Resources
  • Office of Mental Health
    
  • Office of Rehabilitation Services
    
  • Office of Alcohol & Substance Abuse
    
    
• If an agency serves multiple counties it must seek funding from the mental health board/department in those counties.
  
  

Additionally, MCMHB:

• Reviews applicants yearly.
  
  
• Does not engage in "historical funding."
  
  
• Restricts funding to those services provided in Madison County and surrounding areas for Madison County residents.
  
  
• Requires funded agencies to self-monitor/report results.
